The 2016 Property Tax Auction has been planned for May 21, 2016, at 12:30 pm, at the Catt-LV School, Little Valley Campus.

Information Night

An Information night will be held May 12 at 7:00 pm, County Building 303 Court St, 3rd Fl, Little Valley NY.  You will see a slide presentation of parcels with tax information, and have time to ask questions, which should be helpful to especially first-time buyers.  Books and maps will be available for purchase.  Bidder pre-registration as time permits for anyone that hasn't already registered online.

WARNING:

It is unlawful to trespass on County property or devalue it in any way which includes, but is not limited to: removing furnace, pipes, fixtures, windows/doors, or cutting down trees.  Properties are being monitored and any violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  Some of our parcels are inhabited and may be in process of being repurchased by prior owner.  DO NOT TRESPASS.

Farmersville parcel # 148a  Minimum bid  $50,000 and deed restrictions: Resolved . . .The real property shall not be used for the purposes of landfills, dumping on or storage of hazardous materials, mining or the drilling of oil and/or gas wells.  If, in the sole discretion of Cattaraugus County, the restrictive covenant is violated, then the real property described herein shall, at the discretion of Cattaraugus County, revert to Cattaraugus County.

Rights of Way for ingress and egress of the landlocked parcels mentioned below were not found.  This does not mean they don't exist, and it doesn't mean that you can never get them.  It only means they are not apparent by preliminary search of the public records and may need to be established by a court.
