Registered Professional Nurse

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office, Jail Division is seeking candidates for the position of Registered Professional Nurse to be filled on a part time basis. The incumbent provides comprehensive medical and psychiatric care to an inmate population of 150 individuals. The successful candidate will hold a current registration and license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State with a minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical/surgical setting and two years' experience in psychiatric nursing in either an inpatient or outpatient mental health setting preferred. This individual must possess strong health assessment and interpersonal skills. This position has a flexible work schedule that will include 2 weekends per month with some non-traditional work hours.
