Fiber Optic Network
Attention CEOs and IT Managers!!!
In today's world, information technology is a critical component in every business plan, and broadband fiber optic connectivity can make the difference between expansion or stagnation- providing capacity, redundancy and connectivity to the rest of the world. Many businesses need a broadband access solution that offers affordable rates with a reliable, redundant route to the Internet, which is currently not available to most businesses in Cattaraugus County.
Southern Tier West is presently facilitating a grant application with DFT Communications and Finger Lakes Technology Group to assist with a fiber build from Falconer to Whitesville, NY. This is the final segment of a fiber ring that would create a redundant route to the Internet for many businesses in Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties. Business support is a requirement of the application, therefore the County of Cattaraugus IDA, Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and the Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning & Tourism are hosting an informational meeting for area CEOs and IT Managers to identify regional support of this project.
Please join us to hear more about our plans for a fiber optic network that will bridge Cattaraugus County to the rest of the world or contact us directly to indicate your support.
