CIVIL SERVICE CREDITS FOR VETERANS
The proposed amendment to Article V,
Section 6 of the Constitution would: (1) grant civil service credits to
aliens lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States
who served in the Armed Forces of the United States in time of war who
are New York State residence; and (2) delete the invalidated requirement
that a veteran be a resident of new York State of the time his
entrance into the Armed Forces. Shall the proposed amendment be
approved? |
