Are you tired, anxious or in pain? Are you unsure about how to best handle an ongoing health condition? JOIN US at the Living Healthy Workshop! Discover fresh, practical ways to live better and healthier. Learn the tools to manage and take control of your health.

The Cattaraugus County Department of Aging/NY Connects will be conducting a FREE 6-week series of classes that will address techniques to deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation. The classes will teach appropriate exercises for maintaining and improving strength, flexibility, and endurance. Also covered will be appropriate use of medications; communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals; nutrition, decision making, and how to evaluate new treatments.

Classes will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on April 27, May 4, 11, 22, June 1, and June 8 at the John J. Ash Community Center, 112 North Barry Street in Olean. For more information or to register, please contact Stacy Lockwood at the Department of the Aging at 716-373-8032
