The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia, and Alzheimer's & Caregiving Through the Holidays

An education program by the Alzheimer's Association

Alzheimer's disease is not normal aging. If you or someone you know is affected by Alzheimer's disease or dementia, it's good to learn the facts. This program provides information on detection, risk factors, stages of the disease, treatment, and much more. Caregiving through the Holidays, will help you understand the challenges that any holiday season or large family gathering may bring, whether you are caring for a person with dementia who is living at home or in a facility.

For more information or to register, call 1-800-272-3900

This program is supported in part by a grant from the New York State Department of Health.

Date & Time: Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 1:00-3:00pm

This event is also happening on November 9, 2016 at the Healthy Community Alliance Building in Gowanda.
