22nd Annual Public Hearing and Senior Forum

The Twenty-Second (22nd) Annual Senior Forum and Public Hearing will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016, at the Franklinville Elementary School beginning at 9:00 a.m. The forum is open to all persons age 60 and older who are residents of Cattaraugus County. The day's events include the annual Public Hearing, which will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., a series of workshops during two time periods, lunch prepared by the department's Senior Nutrition Program, and afternoon entertainment.
Following the public hearing, participants will be provided with the opportunity to choose from the following workshops:
- "How to be Safe in an Unsafe World" by Chris Baker
- "Coloring: Not Just for Kids Anymore" by Melissa Weatherly
- "The Life and Times of Cattaraugus County" by Earl McElfresh
- "About Zika: The A-Zs of the Zika Virus" by Debra Nichols
- "Programs to Empower Your Life and Yourself" by Melanie Easton and Christa Heckathorn
- "Learn the Hidden Gems of the Enchanted Mountains" by Crystal Abers
