The Cattaraugus County Department of Aging/NY Connects will be conducting a 6-week series of classes that will address techniques to deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation. The classes will teach appropriate exercises for maintaining and improving strength, flexibility, and endurance. Also covered will be appropriate use of medications; communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals; nutrition, decision making, and how to evaluate new treatments.

Dates

Classes will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on April 21, 28, May 5, 12, 26 and June 2, 2016 at the Olean Public Library, 134 N. 2nd Street, Olean, NY.
