The second showing of the documentary "Being Mortal" will be held at the Olean Public Library in Olean on Monday, November 23, 2015, at 6:00 pm.

A question and discussion period will be held after the conclusion of the film.

November is National Caregiver Month

November is National Caregiver Month and in honor of this, the Cattaraugus County Department of Aging/NY Connects will sponsor viewing of the documentary "Being Mortal." This documentary explores the intersection of life, death, medicine and what matters in the end. The narrator, Dr. Atul Gawande, shares four different stories of individuals who were at the end of their lives and how he and other physicians approached dealing with treatment versus quality of life.
