Presented by HomeCare & Hospice, WPIG 95.7 FM, St. Bonaventure University and CUTCO, the 18th annual Hospice Walk is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Allegheny River Trail that winds around the St. Bonaventure campus. The walk not only raises money for HomeCare & Hospice, it also increases awareness of available services and support that the agency provides to the community.

The three-mile course, following a portion of the scenic trail, will accommodate strollers, wheelchairs, rollerbladers, bicyclists, joggers and walkers. Businesses, groups, clubs and families are encouraged to organize a team and walk as a group.

The top pledge earners will be given the opportunity to win prizes donated by area businesses, including a 32-inch flat screen television, St. Bonaventure men's and women's basketball season tickets, a Galley Plus 6 set of CUTCO knives and a 3-month membership to the Olean or Bradford YMCA. Participants who raise $50 or more will receive a gift and be entered into a drawing for prizes donated by local businesses.

An awards ceremony with refreshments, giveaways and a Chinese auction will follow the walk.
