Snowmobile Safety Class in Randolph

The Elibomwons Snowmobile Club will hold an adult and child snowmobile safety course from 6-10pm December 6 and December 8.  This is for area youth wishing to earn a Snowmobile Safety Certificate.

Attendance at both classes is required.  Children must be at least 10 years old to attend.  A parent or guardian must sign a registration form by December 6.

Individuals between the ages of 14 through 17 must successfully complete a formal, eight-hour safety course before they can lawfully operate a snowmobile without adult supervision in New York State.  Youths ages 10 through 13 may operate a snowmobile on lands upon which snowmobiling is permitted if they have successfully completed a formal snowmobile safety training course and are accompanied by a person who is at least 18 years of age.
